In the morning, I stopped at the convenience store for my Monday morning coke. The owner was mopping the floor near the entrance. When I walked in, he said "Good morning, sweetie. Watch your step, sweetheart."

#4 northbound, afternoon

A woman with a ponytail mullet sat in the front talking on her cell phone. If she just cut off her hair at the ponytail, it would have been a regular short but shaggy haircut. In front of her was a shopping cart holding Walgreen's bags and a blue-and-yellow big wheel. A few stops into my ride, a man in an electric wheelchair got on. Everyone else in the front of the bus moved back, but the driver had to ask the woman to move so he could use that space for the wheelchair. She switched to the other side of the aisle and the driver lifted those seats to make room for her cart. She stayed on the phone the entire time and spent the rest of the trip waving a taped business envelope in her hand. She was still on the bus when I got off.
